규산고려집게벌레
Challia kyusani Moon and Kim 1985

몸길이는 꼬리 끝까지 23-26 ㎜이며 암갈색이다. 복부말단 등판의 5 개의 둥근 돌기 중에 가운데 것이 매우 작으며 수컷의 집게 안쪽 가두리는 자연스럽게 휘었다. 암컷의 복부말단 등판 좌우 가장자리는 곧지 않고 약간 둥글게 굽는다. 산지의 소나무 종류의 나무껍질 아래에서 발견된다. 한국에 분포한다.

Challia kyusani Moon and Kim 1985 Korean J. Entomol. 15(1): 58, figs. 4-7.

  Type materials: 1♂ holotype & 1♂, 3♀♀ paratypes, Temple Baegdam, 26. IX. 1983, T.Y. Moon. All types are being deposited in Korean Entomological Institute, Korea University.
  Specimens examined: (Kang-won-Do) Temple Baegdam, 2♂♂, 3♀♀, 3 larvae, 26. IX. 1983, T.Y. Moon.
  Description: Body length without forceps, ♂ 16.0-18.0 ㎜, ♀ 17.0-17.4 ㎜, length of forceps, ♂ 7.0-8.0 ㎜, ♀ 7.0-7.4 ㎜. (♂) Body narrower and the median tubercle remarkably smaller than that of C. fletcheri. The inner margins of forceps naturally curved, The paramere with the divided process at the ultimate tergite not parallel each other, rather slightly curved. The apical part of forceps less curved than that of C. fletcheri.
  Distribution: Korea
  Remarks: This species is very similar to C. fletcheri in respect to the other figures except the above mentioned. The present authors also observed this species has been living on or near the Pinus-group trees.
