금빛삽사리 [Large gold grasshopper]
Chrysochraon dispar major Uvarov 1925
몸길이는 약 16-30
㎜이다. 수컷은 금속성의 금빛을 띠며 암컷은 연한 갈색이다. 삽사리와 비슷하지만
앞가슴등판 중앙 융기선이 잘 발달한다. 수컷의 앞날개는 충분히 길고 끝은
둥글며 암컷의 앞날개는 짧고 비늘 모양이다. 무릎은 검은 색이다. 암컷의 산란관은 짧고 크다. 축축한
곳, 산지 가장자리 풀밭 등에서 발견된다. 북한, 중국, 유럽에 널리 분포한다.

Differs from the typical (Central European) form by its much larger dimension, as follows:-

Described from 2♂♂ and 2♀♀ from Khumsan, distr. Tashkent, 9 viii 1920. Although there are no structural or colour characters separating the Turkestan specimens from the European ones, the difference in dimensions between them is so striking that I feel quite justified in describing the new subspecies.
