Holotype
♀, North Korea, Kangwon Prov., Kumgang San, at light, l. VI. l970,
S. Mahunka & H. Steinmann (HNH). Description.
Female. Medium-sized, light yellowish brown with dark brown longitudinal
stripe along rostrum, two darkish longitudinal stripes between dorsal
base of rostrum and hind edge of head, whitish lateral ocelli, pronotal
disc with rather approximate wide yellow stripes along lateral edges
and two small darkish spots at hind corner, rest of body unicolorous
(without spots). Lateral lobes of pronotum with very oblique inferior
edge. Fore and middle tibiae with six external and five internal
rather long spines; femora unarmed; spines of hind tibiae small.
Wings long, extending to distal half of hind tibiae; tegmina significantly
shorter than hind wings, with round apex. Cerci rather long; genital
plate transverse, with three characteristic projections at hind
edge; ovipositor long and practically straight, with acute apex
of dorsal valves and small apical hook of ventral valves. Male
unknown. Length. Body: l3 ㎜; body with wings: 26
㎜; pronotum: 3.6 ㎜; tegmina: 19.3 ㎜; hind femora: 12 ㎜; ovipositor:
11 ㎜. Comparison. Similar to D. (I.)
birmanicum (B.-Bien.), differs in peculiarities of coloration
[D. birmanicum with one simple dark longitudinal stripe on
the middle of dorsal surface of head and with a pair of rather narrow
yellow longitudinal remote stripes of pronotal disc only] and in
the shape of lateral lobes of pronotum [D. birmanicum with
near1y horizontal inferior edge of these lobes].
