벼메뚜기 [=우리벼메뚜기]
Oxya chinensis sinuosa Mistshenko 1951

몸길이는 약 21.5-35.7 ㎜이며 날개 길이와 수컷의 미모, 암컷 아생식판 구조 등에 변이가 많다. 성충은 8-10 월 중에 나타난다. 유충의 앞가슴등판에는 흰 줄무늬가 있다. 물가 주변의 벼과 식물에 많이 산다. 중국에도 분포한다.

Original description: Oxya sinuosa Mishchenko 1951

Second and third abdominal tergites in the ♀ usually without a spine, sometimes the second tergite has a very short indistinct spine. Supraanal plate in the ♂ with a wide rounded apex. ♂ cerci conical, distinctly compressed in front of the apex. ♀ subgenital plate with short lateral raised carinae, not reaching its middle by far. Length of ♂ 21.5-27.5, ♀ 28.6-35.7 ㎜; tegmina ♂ 15.6-21.2, ♀ 20.8-24.5 ㎜. -Korea, region of Seoul. To all appearances reports on finding O. velox (Fabr.) in Korea refer to this species.
